And this reaches the end of this Arc, Einar is back, Conlan has a face and things are right with the world…for the moment.
We will be seeing more of Conlan AND the dragon shortly, thanx to everyone who has been reading and liking everything so far. We would love to hear from you.
This project has been an amazing experience for me and while it is not nearly complete I feel that being able to tell this story is one of the things I am “Supposed” to do in this life. Thank you all for being a part of that.

HARRY POTTER AND THE Half Ass Acting

Went and seen the new potter Last weekend *Read: Day of doom and Destruction…my birthday* And while I am not the biggest Potter fan, I have enjoyed most of the books.
However I have to say this movie was lacking in some of the aspects that I have come to enjoy in the Potter movies. I realize that the Half Blood Prince Book was about the development of the personal relationships in the Potter universe, but it didn’t translate that well to the big screen, Bonny Wright who plays Ginny Weasley seems a bit stiff and I didn’t feel the chemistry between her and David Radcliffe.
The love triangle between Ron, Hermione, and Lavender was slightly amusing, however I have never been very impressed with Rupert Grint’s performance as Ron.
Although I did find Helena Bonham Carter amazing, but I’ve had a crush on her for years so I might be a bit biased
I am by no means a movie critic, but I do know what I like, I am really looking forward to seeing GI JOE though, I haven’t heard the greatest things about it, but then again just like Transformers it’s a Live action Movie based off of a 1980′s Cartoon that was a 30 minute toy commercial. I will love it for what it is.

Reclaiming The Blade.

As some of you know, I have a small obsession for the Western Martial Arts, *Martial arts coming from Western and Eastern Europe.
A year or so ago I came across a trailer for a documentary called “Reclaiming The Blade.” This Documentary was describing how when the words Martial Arts are spoken, People almost immediately think, “Asia, Karate, Bruce Lee” etc. The idea of Western Martial arts as a simple hack and slash barbarous seemed to be the norm. Well this documentary was to expose that this is not the case.
I waited on the edge of my seat to see this movie in theaters…but alas it was not to be.
I looked for it on store shelves but alas it never showed up.
Last night I was perusing Netflix Streaming video..and like the grail shining in the darkness there it was, I was overjoyed I was breathless got to admit I was a little excited.
I hit play and sat back, 1 hour seventeen minutes later, I was giggly with excitement. For the last few years off and on I have been running a Western Martial Arts class. A few weeks ago upset with the lack of commitment from some of the students, and my own personal issues I had to take a step back. This movie came by at the right time, to inspire me.
And you might think it’s weird or funny, but that is how I geek out. I love computers, and I love movies and comics etc. but my true Geekiness is Swords, Knives, and basically medieval history.

So I reinstated my subscription to WOW, and no that is not why the comic was late
Having fun at it again as I am with a group of friends and I like the Death Knights, I personally think that they could have put a little more story into it when creating them but hey, 55th level and bad ass looking. Love it.
