Welcome Pain Killers,

I had a lot of fun with this strip, Einar is not usually the most expressive character, so playing with his features the last few strips hsd been fun. It’s another super sized one, I cant guarantee they will always be 3,6, or12 panels, it will just be whatever  it takes to get the point/dramatic effect/joke across. I hope you enjoy!

This was not one of my favorite strips, visually I was not happy with it and let’s say that well, my color choices were poor. However I am including this one in the Retro series because I had made the decision to Alter one of my characters *Einar* forever, He was to lose his hand, it was something I actually had a hard time coming to that decision. and I have done my very best to not “Marvel” out and go back on that decision..just yet :D

This is the First Strip, done by Mary Kent *also known as Maeve, Zymurgea and all around wonderful person* Maeve answered a call I put out for an artist for the comic at a time when I was honestly burnt out on doing it, (it did not help I was going through a personal crisis at the time) and while the art style was quite a change from mine *see Good* I cannot thank her enough for helping Tears & Pain survive. Her run lasted just short of a year, but it allowed me the time to get my life straight, to focus on what I considered important *my art* and realize that I really do love doing this. Maeve is a wonderful Artist who is currently working with her Husband Greag over at http://www.zymurgea.com on both the Gaterunner Webcomic and Tasha’s Tale, I highly suggest these two webcomics to anyone who likes sci fi/fantasy. Be warmed however Tasha’s Tale is a Fantasy tale involving  Bondage/Fetish type situations so it is definitely NSFW.

This particular strip I love just cuz it shows how much of a bad ass Einar really is.
